裘帕·拉希莉（Jhumpa Lahiri） 出生于1967年，印度裔美国作家。1999年出版处女作短篇小说集《解说疾病的人》，获得2000年“普利策奖”小说奖，成为该奖项史上最年轻获得者。2003年出版首部长篇小说《同名人》。2008年出版第二部短篇小说集《不适之地》，被《纽约时报书评周刊》评为年度十佳图书第一名，获“弗兰克·奥康纳国际短篇小说奖”。2013年出版长篇小说《低地》，入围“布克奖”和“美国国家图书奖”小说奖决选名单。 拉希莉曾任美国文学和人文科学委员会委员，目前为普林斯顿大学创意写作课教授。
